The Xcel Comp X

The Xcel Comp X hooded wetsuit is all about maximum stretch and comfort.
While most winter suits are 5/4 or 6mm thick, the Comp X hooded wetsuit comes in two thickness options, the 4.5/3.5 and the 5.5/4.5mm.

Due to the technical advancements in this wetsuit, the 0.5-millimetre reduction in the thickness of the Comp X means that it will exceed the performance of many 5mm or 6mm wetsuits, respectively.

The Comp X boasts minimal seams with one-piece front and back panels that offer a consistent flex across the neoprene. The entire exterior is Channel Flex, a lightweight, hydrophobic gridded material that breaks up the tension by reducing fibre and water weight, further adding to the stretch and creating a wetsuit that hugs your body and fits like a second skin.

The deconstructed hood offers little restriction whilst turning your head, and the smooth skin seal combined with the adjustable pull cord ensures a tight fit around your face to reduce water entry while duck diving.

Other external features include a semidry zipper with magnetic close and back knee flex groves.

The brightly coloured infrared smart-fibre lining called TDC runs from the chest to the ankles. Celliant is a mineral infused into the fibre. It is clinically proven to increase thermal energy that penetrates the muscle and body tissue to promote blood flow, increasing warmth, energy, endurance, and recovery.

The Comp X is a staff and team favourite, designed for an active surfer who desires freedom of movement and the ultimate wetsuit flexibility.
If comfort and stretch are what you are looking for, then the Comp X is the wetsuit for you.
