Sage Erickson is from Ventura, California and is an XCEL ambassador.
Erickson started her competitive surfing career when she was 14.
She dominated the Pro Junior circuits, and in 2012, at age 21, she qualified for the Women’s Association of Professional Surfing ASP (Word Surf League). In 2016, Erickson ranked number 9 in the World Surfing Tour.
To top it of she has won the US Open twice!
When we asked Sage what she looks for in a wetsuit, she explained that flexibility and freedom of movement are her top priorities regarding performance. “As surfers, we get into crazy positions to perform progressive manoeuvres, so embracing the movement is super important.”
