Wetsuit Overview
The Phoenix suit takes its silhouette from the best selling Comp suit. Where the Comps is only critically taped, the Phoenix boasts full taping for tighter, stronger seals and a full thermal lining. Additionally, the Phoenix has a new panel cut on the arms with a one-piece Channel Flex panel running across the shoulders and the length of the arm with Ultra Stretch neoprene on the underside. This construction increases the freedom of movement which is an obvious benefit if you are paddling for 6hrs straight like Pat.
Pats Feedback
Summer has definitely passed and although the water temperature isn’t super cold, the weather has been terrible lately and there is definitely a chill in the air. Some of the guys have been pulling out their hooded suits! When I put the Phoenix suit on, it felt like a 3/2 summer suit, stretchy and easy to jump in too. The material feels nice, subtle and soft. All new suits feel warm although this one felt particularly warm for a 4/3 and I think that when the water gets colder and I start wearing boots, I will be able to wear this deep into the winter months.
